Question:
Can it cut cast iron?
Answer:
All depends in the thickness and the length of the item your cutting. In most cases the problem is not the torch, is the cyclinders. The map gas last but the oxygen run out to fast. It should be equal, but in my personal experience, I was not that lucky. Example:
I needed to cut a fence post (2" diameter), my saw battery was to low, I then pull out the torch I was able to cut the post but it used two oxygen cylinder and one map gas to cut a 2" pipe. Cast Iron, it will cut it, but make sure you have some extra oxygen cylinder. By the way, make sure its not windy, or else you need to ignite many times, which in the end you will regret purchasing this item. In other word, it very handy for small project.

They fit the bottles that are the same size and threading as the mapp. And it doesn’t last very long. Maybe half the time of the mapp. MAYBE
